I spent 30 years in the corporate world. Then, at 58, I walked away.
Not because I had it all figured out. Because I knew there had to be something more than trading decades of my life for a retirement I wasn't sure would be there.
I moved to a small village in Northeast Thailand, Ban Chiang, where the traditions are still alive and nobody's in a hurry. In the beginning, I was just a man with a laptop, a notebook, and a question: What now?
That question led me to Launch You. A structured, education-based program that taught me how to build an online business, one module at a time, one skill at a time. No inventory. No selling to friends. No prior tech experience needed. Just the willingness to learn, believe in yourself, and do the hard work.
But the program gave me something I didn't expect. It gave me people.
Mentors who'd been there before me and experienced every up and down. Coaches who listened. A community, Modern Wealthy, full of people walking the same path. And friendships. Real ones. All over the world. People who support me 100% in what I'm building. That, to me, is priceless.
Last month, I turned 61. I celebrated right here in Ban Chiang with people who've welcomed me in a way I'd probably never experienced before. A new culture. A new chapter. A new way of being seen.
Today, my life looks completely different from those 30 years in the corporate world.
I wake up in a village where silk weavers still practise the ancient art of mudmee, a tradition I'm now helping to document and revive. I run Digital World Freedom, helping people like you discover that it's never too late. I'm building a second channel, The Ingenuity Files, creating documentaries about the inventions that shaped our world, because passion doesn't retire.
My mission now is simple: to help people like you see that your next chapter can be your best one. Whether you're 55 and worried about retirement security, or 65 and wondering if the window has closed, it hasn't.
With the right tools, honest guidance, and people around you who've walked the path before, you can build something that gives you both purpose and security.
